Ultrafiltration Systems

Ultrafiltration system is the process of separating small molecules in a mixture from large molecules by the effect of hydrostatic pressure using a semi-permeable membrane. Thanks to its advanced ultrafiltration modules, it acts as a complete barrier for bacteria, viruses and other microorganisms without the need for chemicals. Suspended solids, turbidity and discoloration are removed without interfering with the chemical properties of the water. Membranes with a pore diameter of 0.02 micron prevent particles larger than this from passing through the membrane, ensuring that the turbidity value is less than 0.1 NTU, and plays a role in reaching the maximum level of organic matter removal. It is widely used in the treatment of spring water and drinking water, as well as in the pretreatment of waste water recovery and seawater osmosis systems. In addition, ultrafiltration systems contribute to prolonging the life of the system and improving water quality by reducing the load on the membrane in reverse osmosis systems.
