Chlorine Disinfection Systems
Chlorine dosing systems are used to oxidize oxidizable substances such as nitrite, iron and manganese in water and to disinfect harmful microorganisms such as bacteria and viruses. As soon as chlorine mixes with water, it reacts with some organic substances and heavy metals in the water and ensures the destruction of harmful microorganisms. Leaving a certain amount of free residual chlorine in water at the end of these reactions also helps to prevent microorganism activity until the final use point. By injecting the chlorine into the system with the dosing pump, while the raw water is chlorinated, the chlorine is dosed with a constant flow rate or with an automatic control at a variable flow rate. Chlorine disinfection systems are used in many branches of industry such as drinking and utility water treatment, cosmetics, heating and cooling systems, chemistry and leather industry.
Chlorine dosing units are designed as standard flow controlled or redox controlled according to the system, and pump selection is made by our team according to the capacity to be disinfected.
